The European Capital Markets Institute (ECMI) is an independent think tank that operates within the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS). It performs and disseminates research on capital markets that contributes to ongoing policy debates in Europe. ECMI also acts as a focal point for academics, market participants and policymakers to exchange ideas on the efficiency, stability, integrity and competitiveness of existing capital markets.
