The Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) offers a wide range of expertise from around the region and beyond. Since 1953, IDM’s experts and networks have provided a platform for knowledge sharing and expert views on the grand challenges of our time. In particular, they have aimed to go beyond clichés and biases, create sustainable cooperation across borders and barriers, promote free and open discussions, and advocate for peaceful solutions. By doing so, IDM has sought to position itself as a multilateral hub for a democratic and resilient Europe.
