ILPES is the leading ECLAC system entity in research, technical cooperation and training in planning, economics and public sector management for the development of Latin American and Caribbean countries. It calls for discussion and reflection on the challenges facing the State in its development strategies. It contributes to national and sub-national efforts aimed at improving the quality of public policies and strengthening institutional capacities.
