The National Institute of Public Health is a centre of research and. It generates knowledge for the formulation, organization and conduction of public policies for health. Its mission is to contribute to social equity and the full realization of the right to health protection through the generation and dissemination of knowledge, the training of human resources of excellence and innovation in multidisciplinary research for the development of public policies based in evidence.
