UNISCI's staff comprise professors, fellows, and research assistants specializing in international security, and most belong to the Department of International Law and International Relations of the Faculty of Political Science of Complutense university. UNISCI's main aim is to promote security studies in Spanish universities, a field that has been relatively neglected until recently.
