Established in 2005 with an endowment from the Leong family, the Ricardo Leong Center for Chinese Studies promotes Chinese Studies in the Ateneo de Manila University through workshops, scholarships, research, and other activities. Its objective is to help Filipinos understand and appreciate China in all her aspects, including culture, history, politics, business and economics, so as to be able to engage China in a constructive way.
