SIIA is dedicated to the research, analysis, and discussion of regional and international issues. It aims to make Singapore a more cosmopolitan and global society through research, policy work, and public education on international affairs. SIIA is funded by foundations, membership subscriptions, and corporate sponsorship and receives no regular funding from the Singapore government. As a civic institution, it offers individual and corporate membership, which is open to all who value access to the perspectives, insights, and networks on international affairs. As an institution for policy relevant research, SIIA, together with its sister think tanks in ASEAN member countries, analyses and shares political, economic, and security insights with politicians, governments, and opinion makers. Domestically, SIIA taps intellectual resources and networks on global affairs through its youth outreach education. On a professional level, SIIA hosts lectures, dialogues, and talks on international affairs and business outlooks delivered by top experts and leaders in the political, commercial, and civic communities. With members that include top professionals, managers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs, SIIA provides opportunities to meet, learn from, and connect with others who share the same interests in examining international issues that impact Singapore and the rest of the world.
