The Tax Foundation is a Washington, D.C.-based think tank, founded in 1937, that collects data and publishes research studies on U.S. tax policies at both the federal and state levels. As well as guiding today’s lawmakers, the Tax Foundation is also cultivating the country’s next generation of leaders. Every summer, hundreds of congressional staffers join them to learn about the basics of economics and tax policy at Tax Foundation University, and throughout the year they mentor tomorrow’s tax policy experts through our internship and clerkship programs.
