The Center for Media Research – Nepal (CMR Nepal) is a not-for-profit and autonomous research and policy-oriented think tank established in 2011. It is based in Kathmandu, Nepal. CMR-Nepal’s main aim is to enhance the knowledge content of policy-making and media development by conducting researches aimed at informing Nepal’s policymakers and media stakeholders. CMR-Nepal strongly believes in liberal democracy, human rights and media’s role in strengthening democracy.
