The Party School of the CPC Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee is a training school for civil servants and party cadres as well as a social science and philosophy research institution. It has a capacity of 2,000 long term trainees a year, 6,000 short term trainees a year. It recruits more than 700 graduate students a year. In addition, it publishes several internal journals, including: "Seeking Truth from Facts", "Xinjiang Party School Newspaper", "School (Institute) Work Briefing", and "Research and Teaching Reference".
