The Chinese Institute of Foreign Affairs aims to enhance people to people friendship, promote the development of state relations, and seek world peace, development and cooperation. It actively establishes and develops contacts and exchanges with well-known political and social activists, parliaments, think tanks, the media, and other countries in the world. It acts as a delegation to welcome international cooperation and publishes an English language quarterly journal, "Foreign Affairs".
