The Centre for Development Studies is a centre for private studies and research, independent of any political, religious and business group that is dedicated to the promotion of human development from an approach that privileges the principles of a free society. Its mission is to study the political, economic and social reality of Uruguay to efficiently influence the decision-making of public policies in a scientific and quantifiable way through research of academic excellence, training instances and social interaction programs that support the values of freedom.
