The Centre for Research in Education (CIEd) is a multidisciplinary unit that, at the Institute of Education, aims at producing theoretical and practical knowledge that supports innovative, socially relevant policies, practices and approaches in the field of Education. With a view to the informed and socially committed development of educational and educational professionals, as well as other educational actors, the CIEd takes as its priority research objects the rationalities, policies, contexts, processes and practices of school and non-school education and training.
