CSM dedicates to the study of Polish foreign policy and international political issues, which are of crucial importance to Poland's development. CSM's primary objectives are to (1) offer political counseling; (2) illustrate Poland's current international situation; and (3) continuously monitor the government's foreign policy activities. CSM prepares reports and analyses, holds conferences and seminars, publishes books and articles, carries out research projects, and supports working groups. CSM cooperates with a number of experts and has built up a forum for foreign policy debate for politicians, members of parliament, civil servants, local government officials, journalists, academics, students, and representatives of other NGOs. CSM is convinced that, given the foreign policy challenges Poland is facing today, support for public debate on international issues in Poland is of vital importance.
