Grupo de Información en Reproducción Elegida

The Information Group on Reproductive Choice (GIRE) is a Mexican non-profit, non-governmental organization whose mission is to promote and defend women’s reproductive rights within the context of human rights. We defend women, youth, and children whose rights have been violated, to generate a culture where the exercise of rights is guaranteed. We advocate for the strengthening of the regulatory framework and public policies on reproductive rights at the federal and state levels. Our ultimate goal is to achieve, through the demand for reproductive justice, a social and cultural transformation in Mexico, from a human rights framework.
