The Millenium Institute (Imil) is a non-profit and non-party political entity based in Rio de Janeiro. Formed by intellectuals and entrepreneurs, the think tank promotes values and principles that guarantee a free society, such as individual liberty, property rights, free market, representative democracy, rule of law and institutional limits to government action.Through seminars, lectures and meetings held throughout the country, contact with the press and the publication of daily analyses on the portal, the Millenium Institute presents alternatives to key problems in the country and encourages debate with the various voices of public opinion, thus contributing to national development.
