The International Centre for Energy, Environment and Development produces the evidence base for political lobbying and political reforms. These reforms will provide the underprivileged with some security when faced with the effects of climate change and will help them to meet their energy needs. ICEED's strength lies in its partnership. It works with progressive Nigerian and international research centres, government agencies, specialists and entrepreneurs. This allows to create flexible and multidisciplinary teams to respond to energy and climate challenges that affect the poor. Its pool of specialists includes economists, political scientists, engineers, lawyers and social development specialists. ICEED provides policy research, policy development support, project management, capacity building, monitoring & evaluation and advocacy on sustainable energy and climate change.
