Since 1988, SOS Amazônia has been working to protect and conserve the Amazon Forest, supporting traditional peoples. It has three strategic objectives: conservation of forest cover through the sustainable use of products from socio-biodiversity; strengthens forest conservation and biodiversity protection, especially in Protected Areas in the Amazon; and promotes restoration of deforested areas on small and medium-sized properties. Its mission is to promote the conservation of biodiversity and the growth of environmental awareness in the Amazon.
