Project brief
IDRC and OTT coincide in the assessment that the impact investing industry in the emerging markets and, most importantly, their intended beneficiaries, would gain from the involvement of policy research organisations, think tanks. This project will undertake an assessment of the knowledge demand of the industry in Latin America and Africa, determine the capabilities and potential interest of local think tanks to attend this demand, begin to build bridges between both communities, and develop a new initiative to facilitate greater involvement of think tanks in impact investment globally.
