The International Development Research Centre (IDRC)’s 2015–2020 strategic plan included a strategic objective to ‘invest in knowledge and innovation for large scale positive change.
As IDRC prepared to enter a new 10-year strategic period, it commissioned OTT Consulting and Southern Hemisphere to evaluate the implementation of its strategic objective to scale and what was achieved by those efforts.
The evaluation took an exploratory approach, identifying the practices, systems, and processes that supported or hindered scaling efforts at IDRC during the five-year strategic period.
