Louise Ball

Louise specialises in research communications. Before joining OTT as Director of Communications, she was a communications consultant with OTT while also leading the communications and policy engagement work for a Global Challenges Research Fund project at SOAS, University of London. Prior to that, she managed strategic communications and policy engagement for ODI’s Research and Policy in Development team and the International Bar Association’s Human Rights Institute in London. She is co-author of a toolkit on monitoring, evaluating and learning from communications, a Research Excellence Framework impact toolkit, and 10 things to know about how to influence policy with research.
