Fundación Ideas para la Paz

Fundación Ideas para la Paz (FIP) is an independent think tank established in 1999 by a group of Colombian businessmen. It aims to influence debates and public policies, develop innovative solutions to promote territorial transformation and accompany different actors, including the business sector, to actively contribute to peace, security and sustainable development as interconnected agendas. This has led it to build a three-C formula: Comprehend, Create and Connect. FIP has four interconnected thematic areas: conflict and organised violence, peacebuilding, security and governance, and responsible business conduct.
