SDPI produces knowledge to catalyse transition to sustainable development. For this purpose, it produces robust evidence that may lead to change in perceptions, policies and practices in public as well as private sector. Mandate: to provides evidence-based support to public officials and stakeholders to respond to the multiple challenges faced by Pakistan. SDPI, by conducting trans-disciplinary research, bridges research policy practice gaps. It not only generates and disseminates research but also help improve skills of practitioners by engaging them through our training programs. Currently SDPI research focuses on development sectors, governance, socio-economic justice, peace and conflict resolution, economic growth, regional connectivity, CPEC, equitable resources distribution, industrial development, climate change and environment.
